Order FAQs

Q1: Do you work at a trading company or as a manufacturer?

A1: We are a direct manufacturing company, which deals with metal nameplates, brass plates, engraving, etching, printing, and die-cutting. Every operation such as adjustment of artworks to cutting and gluing are all in-house done to ensure consistency and prompt delivery.

Q2: What is your minimum order qualification (MOQ)?

A2: Our boss does not have any MOQ on brass nameplates. You may only require a prototype or a high level of production; we can make any production to suit your project as a part of flexible manufacturing.

Q3: Which file format would you suggest me to use with my design?

A3: To achieve the highest level of accuracy on engraving and printing, one should submit the vector files, i.e. AI, PDF, CDR or CAD. PNG/JPG with a high resolution will be fine with simple layouts.

Q4: Would you mind giving me a sample prior to mass production?

A4: Yes.

  • Existing samples: Free (freight prepaid)
  • Custom brass sample: Based on plate thickness, finish (brushed, mirror, antique), and engraving/printing method

We produce samples using the same material and process as the final order to ensure consistency.

Q5: What are surface finishes and processing options that you provide?

The reason is that we have an extensive variety of choices, such as brushed brass, mirror polish, antique finish, CNC engraving, chemical etching, laser marking, color-filled engraving, UV printing, and protective coating A5. It also has adhesive backing (3M), screw holes and rounded corners.

Q6: What are the prices of brass nameplates?

A6: A price is determined by the thickness of the material (0.3-3 mm), size, surface finish, engraving/printing technique, quantity and adhesive or mounting requirements. Submit your design and quantity required to have a firm price.

Q7: What is your lead time in productions?

A7:

  • Simple engraved or printed brass plates: 5–7 days
  • Etched, color-filled, or antique-finish plates: 7–12 days
  • Urgent orders can be arranged upon request

All nameplates undergo strict QC to ensure smooth edges, consistent color, and durable finish.

Q8: What is your packing and delivery method of the nameplates?

A8: PE film, anti-scratch package and hardboard export cartons are used to shield each brass nameplate. In the case of large orders, we vacuum pack or foambook, to avoid scratches and bending during delivery.

Custom Tips

To make sure that your brass name plates will have maximum appearance, longevity and branding power, the following tips are recommended to be reviewed before placing your order:

1. Choose the Right Finish for Your Application

Mirror-polished, brushed and antique finish provide quite different visual effects. Brushed is best with the modern equipment, mirror ideal with the high-end branding, and antique brass with signage and decor.

2. Use Vector Artwork for Precision

To use engraving, etching, or CNC cutting, it is necessary to have AI, PDF, or CAD vectors files. This allows it to have sharp lines, clean edges, and reproduction of text and logos.

3. Confirm Thickness Based on Installation

Adhesive mounting is best done with thin plates (0.3 to 0.8 mm thick) though significantly more substantial heavy plates (1 to 3 mm thick) offer a superior feel and increased wear life in industrial or outdoor applications.

4. Consider Color-Fill Options

In case your design has engraved letters, then you can use black, white or custom Pantone color-fill to enhance the visibility and contrast.

5. Select the Proper Mounting Method

We provide 3M adhesive bond, screw holes, slots, and rounding corners. Please tell us what you are going to put your installation on so we can suggest you the best mounting.

6. Request a Pre-Production Sample When Needed

A sample is advisable in case of high end brands, signage undertakings, or products with distinctive finishes to determine color tone, texture as well as level of engraving.
