Tactile Membrane Switch
The circuits are controlled by membrane switches. Support intercommunication between various technologies such as lighting, touch panels and industrial keypads. These are not tactile types, but more advanced types of switches that are applied in instrumentation; they must be to precise specifications and be reliably operated.

Q1: What customization options are available for the tactile membrane switch?
A1: Our products include overlay substrates (PET/PC) with feedback with force ranges of 150-500g, circuit designs available (/rigid PCB) of different key sizes and shapes optional lighting (LED) optional adhesive (3M 467/468 or customized). Send your drawings ( PDF / STEP ) or application specifications and our engineering department will develop a solution which is unique to you.
Q2: What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ) for custom tactile membrane switches?
A2: The lowest level of order that can be customized (change in color or design configuration) is 100 units. On batches that are prototypes (1-50 units) we give a prototype service at a fee- to be used on the testing of the product and the market analysis, to large scale production.
Q3: How long is the average time to produce and deliver the goods, once we have ordered?
A3:
- Prototyping: 3-5 working days (including sample confirmation)
- Mass Production: 7-12 working days (depending on the quantity of the order)
- Delivery: 3-7 working days (via DHL/FedEx/UPS (international), 1-3 days (domestic). Urgent demands can be satisfied by express production (5 working days of mass orders).
Q4: Can one get any sample, to final a purchase?
A4: Of course. Production samples (1-3 pieces) are provided by us to ensure size accuracy and functionality. Sample charge will be reimbursed in case of total order exceeding 500 units. The process of delivering the sample takes 3-5 business days.
Q5: What quality tests are conducted before, during shipment?
A5: Quality control measures are applied to each batch, which includes force testing, ratings verification (available, in IP65/IP67) continuity tests of the circuits, testing of adhesive peel strengths and environmental durability testing (temperature/humidity). Upon request, a test report can be given out.
Q6: What are acceptable payment terms, with respect to transactions?
A6: payment methods:
- T/T (Telegraphic transfer): 30 percent deposit, 70 percent balance at shipment.
- PayPal: Checks up to $5,000 (easy to work with small orders)
- L/C (Letter of Credit): Applicable on purchases more than $50,000. Individualized payment conditions can be negotiated, when it comes to term partnerships.
Q7: Do you provide help, individualizing orders and their arrangement?
A7: Certainly. Our engineering department offers any services to include design enhancements, compatibility advice (PCBs/equipment) as well as installation assistance (instructions, information about mounting hole patterns and adhesive applications). It offers technical assistance even after delivery and 24/7.

- Personalized products: In case of any manufacturing problem (circuit faults, non-satisfactory tactile response) because of our manufacturing, we will offer a repair or a substitute. Please, please provide us with photos/videos of the problem within 7 days of the product receipt- we shall cover the shipping costs of the replacement.
Note: The returns will not be accepted in case of customization errors caused by customer specifications (size, circuit design).
Custom Tips
In order to ensure that your custom made tactile membrane switch suits your needs follow these recommendations to ease the process of customization and maximize the functionality of the products:
1. Elaborate On Basic Performance Requirements.
Specify the feedback force (150-500g; more force will be needed in industry, and less in consumer product) the waterproofing (IP65/IP67 recommended in harsh use) and the operating temperature (usually -40o C to 85o C; customization is possible).
2. Offer Intensive Technical Specifications.
Provide explicit technical drawings (in PDF/STEP preferred), including important dimensions, circuit layout, position of mounting holes, and overlay design. Mark essential tolerances (±0.1mm where precision needs to be achieved) to prevent fit problems.
3. Select Suitable Materials
Graphic overlay: Select either PET (cost-effective, wear-resistant) or PC (greater impact resistance).
Adhesive: 3M 467 (high temperature resistant) in industrial equipment or 3M 468 (thin, high adhesion) in devices that are compact.
Circuit layer: Curved surface Flexible PCB, Stable mounting Rigid PCB.
4. Key Function and Aesthetics to be defined.
State the number, form (round/distinct) and method of labeling (laser engraving due to long life screen printing, due to colors). Please note the type of LED backlighting or raised keys needed with the intended application.
5. Share Application Scenarios.
Please indicate the application environment (e.g. devices, automotive controls, industrial systems) as well as the working conditions (e.g. exposure to water or chemicals or frequent usage).
